- ➤ One person died when a Harley Davidson motorcycle went off US-27 and struck a barrier wall near Ridgeville at 9:55 p.m. Saturday night, and the highway patrol is investigating the incident (the victim has not yet been identified). ABC 4 News

- ➤ Restaurant owners and wine importers said that a 20% tariff applied on April 2 has raised concerns about a potential 200% tariff—an increase that could force them to raise wine prices and risk pushing diners to stay home.
