- ➤ A James Island man accused of burning Tesla charging stations in North Charleston was arraigned in federal court on April 23 at 10:30 a.m., facing charges of arson, unlawful making of a firearm, and possession of an unregistered firearm—witnesses said he threw Molotov cocktails and spray-painted a slogan before fleeing after causing about $60,000 in damage. - ➤ A Berkeley County deputy was involved in a shooting during a traffic stop near Clements Ferry Road and Rivers Reach Drive on Tuesday night, injuring one person who was hospitalized.
