- ➤ Two Brazilian men are accused of running several LLCs that let local construction companies hide the employment of undocumented workers and laundered $74M in checks—law enforcement arrested them in Hanahan on May 21 and they now face 17 federal charges including money laundering and witness tampering. - ➤ A federal grand jury in Charleston indicted 16 people on drug and weapons charges tied to street gangs—authorities seized large amounts of cocaine, meth, fentanyl, heroin, marijuana, many pills and 12 guns—to fight crime in the area. ABC 4 News
