- ➤ Troopers are investigating a deadly crash on I-26 in Dorchester County that happened Friday morning near mile marker 185 on the westbound side — one lane of traffic was closed and delays were reported. Count On 2

- ➤ Dorchester County deputies arrested a Summerville man—Craig Michael Finkbeiner—who crashed his black GMC Terrain into a retention pond on Mallard Road in the Jedburg area and swam to evade a K-9 during a chase, and he faces charges for failing to stop for blue lights and driving under suspension. - ➤ Federal agents arrested two men in Charleston and Berkeley County on May 21 for allegedly running a money laundering scheme that hid undocumented worker payments for construction contractors—authorities seized cash, checks, and records during raids and the suspects now face 16 counts. - ➤ Three people were arrested in connection to a fatal shooting at Palmilla Apartments on Ashley River Road in West Ashley, police said—Luca Ward was charged with murder, possession of a firearm during a violent crime, and unlawful carrying of a firearm while A’Mariona Simmons faced accessory after the fact of murder and conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws and Mario Simmons was charged with conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws. - ➤ The 49th annual Spoleto Festival USA opens today at noon at Charleston City Hall and will feature world-class concerts, plays and speeches that explore truth. - ➤ Magnolia Plantation & Gardens opened an exhibition on May 23 featuring over 40 large LEGO sculptures by artist Sean Kenney that celebrate nature’s beauty — visitors can explore the display daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until August 15 with general garden admission. ABC 4 News
- ➤ Spoleto Festival USA began Friday outside City Hall with guest speakers + performances by The Bell Ringers of St. Michael’s Church.
