- ➤ Authorities are investigating an early morning fire that damaged a home on Kathryn Drive in the Beverly Hills community in Goose Creek — crews from the Goose Creek Rural Fire Department and Central Berkeley Fire and EMS responded shortly after midnight Tuesday while SLED is assisting in the investigation. - ➤ Jay Quan Tyheim Washington, a suspected gang member, was sentenced to life in prison after being convicted for the triple murder on January 20th, 2020 in Pineville + a Berkeley County jury found him guilty of killing Malik Gibbs, Desmond Williams and Martice Green. Count On 2
- ➤ North Charleston police arrested Devontay Pryor, 31, on attempted murder and weapon possession charges in connection with a Memorial Day shooting off Otranto Road—officers responded just before 6 p.m. Monday at Greentree North Apartments after finding a 56-year-old man with a gunshot wound who was taken to a nearby hospital.
