- ➤ Charleston entrepreneurs Margaret Seeley and Dawn Spann launched LouLou AI—built to reduce staffing worries—in August 2024 to help hotels, restaurants and spas answer calls. - ➤ South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced Tuesday that the state is expected to receive over $70 million over the next 15 years from a $7.4 billion settlement with Purdue Pharma and the Sackler family — funds that will support opioid addiction treatment, prevention and recovery programs — in a move to hold them accountable. - ➤ Several residents reported receiving fraudulent text messages that claimed to be from the South Carolina DMV, and officials confirmed the messages include a suspicious link — Hanahan Police warned locals on Tuesday that the DMV never texts and advised deleting these messages. My TV Charleston
