- ➤ Coastal Carolina head coach Kevin Schnall and first base coach Matt Schilling were ejected in the bottom of the first inning on Sunday in Game 2 of the College World Series finals in Omaha for prolonged arguing with the umpire—Schnall faces a two-game suspension that could cost him a Game 3 appearance while Schilling is suspended for one game with extra penalty for further arguing. - ➤ On Saturday night a sold-out crowd at Patriots Point watched Charleston Battery beat Phoenix Rising FC 4-1 in a rematch of their 2023 USL Championship Final.
