  • The Fourth of July parade on Isle of Palms was safe and festive as officers enforced new golf cart safety laws—carts were required to be registered, insured, and have seat belts for riders under 12. ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • One person died on July 3 when a boat in Ravenel passed under a U.S. Highway 17 bridge with low clearance and struck a head—state officials said the Department of Natural Resources is investigating the incident.  The Post and Courier
