- ➤ The Charleston County Coroner identified 32-year-old Bernard “BJ” Burgess as the victim of a July 4th auto-pedestrian collision at the Dorchester Road—Foxwood Drive intersection in North Charleston, where he was pronounced dead at 11:30 p.m. while the investigation continues. ABC 4 News

- ➤ Gas prices in South Carolina dropped 11 cents per gallon in the past week to an average of $2.72 per gallon on Monday, based on data from 3,028 stations.
