- ➤ A gas rupture shut down a section of Highway 78 between Von Ohsen Road and Midview Drive in Ladson Wednesday afternoon—officials said the road will remain closed for several hours while Dominion Energy works to repair the mainline and the sheriff's office diverts traffic to alternate routes.
