- ➤ Several events will be held across the Lowcountry to honor 9/11 victims and first responders. The US Coast Guard will host a memorial stair climb at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park at 7:30 a.m. Thursday—Steps of Honor will run at Johnson Hagood Stadium from 6–9 p.m., and other events include a run on Daniel Island, a day of service with Habitat for Humanity, and a memorial motorcycle ride starting at 11 a.m. Saturday.
